shud i buy a m3 cab from PI?

been thinking about it...i wanna try driving a cab b4 i die. but i dun wanna buy a lambo cab. i wanna fetch family. but i think from pml 400k too much. pi at high 200s....sounds decent.

plan is to sell both the bull n the gti n drive a cab for a yr...n then wait for new bitch.

but i scared i get all those creaking noises etc associated with cabs. come on punks... talk to me...

i think the new ones dun hav much creaking noises le... as least, i didn't notice it on the 335i. roofup, quite solid.
just hope the roof mech. dun picha cos it looks rather sophisticated and precise (on the test car, there was a small small piece of rubber coming off just below the roofline)

to be honest toto, if the construction of the M3 is like our regular 3 series, bound to have some creeks. but nothing to worry as it is easily rectified by PML based on goodwill they provide.

Am not sure if PI service centers will entertain customers coming in everytime there is noise in the interior. as u know, creeking noises are technicians worst nightmare!

best to get some feedback from PI bros as well as speak to the PI service centers and gauge their willingness to handle such trivial issues

I think you should go for it. Follow your heart. 1) You get a cab which you wanted, 2) It is a M3. What else can you ask for man. You know a lot of people will die to be in your position to have such dilemma. So don't think so much liao. Go with your heart.

Creaking noises - no worries. I mean, after so many years of owning so many cars, and with all the stupid problems you have encountered before, what is creaking noise? Don't be a sissy lah, any problem comes along, just solve it. Creaking noise is a concern, but not something that should dissuade you from pursuing your dream.

I support you. At least you didn't ask about "Audi" or "Merc". (sorry terry, can't stop myself from disturbing you.)

Had the car for 1 year already and its from PI, no problem at all. So 1 year should be fine for u. Mine not a M3 tho.
