Should I scrap my 318is or Restore it and sell it?

I am planning to change my e36 318is into probably an E39 520i. However, I am wondering if I should just dekit and scrap my car or perhaps restore the interior (since I rip out most of the things) and sell it instead.

I am wondering which will be a better way? Simply scrap the car or sell it away (price of 318is don't look good at all know though). Another option is to sell it at a low price of around 12-13K and let the buyer restore it instead.

I made a mistake back then of trying to sell it in a hurry at low price. Now no more same mistake. No low ballers....rather scrap.

Hi Futron,

I think you should be able to get an estimate of scrap value of the car by checking the COE rebate and (i think no more PARF) + body value + accessories resale value.

If anyone can buy the car at a price higher than above then you just sell it to them cos you dun need to handle the issues after scrapping like trying to sell the acessories or waiting for LTA payment etc... I feel that its worth more as a whole than to sell as part / body.

Just my 2 cents worth

Jason
