I am gonna be gone for 3 weeks and car will be parked in front of the house, by the road, subjected to the elements. Do you guys think it is advisable to get those car cover to have her covered for 3 weeks? Or is it better just leave it as is with only those regular sunshades?

Never had to leave her for so long .. so, a little worried lah.

Any advise? :)

If you are staying in the east, you can park over at my place. It's covered. At the same time, I'll drive your car every other day to work just to keep it going.........kekeke

KT,

If u stay near Pasir Panjang side, feel free to park at my condo. Plenty of safe lots as small condo project. I won't touch your car unless u want me to start it for u once in a while. If u want, PM me. Cheers.

KT, do you have covered parking at work? Season parking? You could park it there and give the building's security guard some incentive to keep an eye on it for you? Perhaps park it in view of a security camera

KT, not a good idea to park by the road exposed to the elements for THREE weeks. Besides concerns over the bodyworks, there is a security concern. And you would want someone to start your engine every few days.

Sidetrack a bit, just a question - can anyone tell me if these covers can withstand small burns from cigarette butts? Legitimate question, if you are parking outdoor.

Re: Should I cover her?

Thanks everyone for the tip. Parking at the office is not an option. Actually parked in front of the house is quite safe, neighbour usually help watch over each other's property .. the only problem is I hate to have the car under hot sun and rain ... will figure something out. Thanks again.

I think u shud just take up the offer by our forumers above.
Using cover and park the car outside your house is probably gonna do no good and raise more curiosity by potential vandals or whoever...just my opinion
