Shell Petrol @ JB Custom!!! Danger!!

Juz sharing my thoughts n recent experience

- Recent months go JB Custom Shell Petrol
- Play cheapo beat the sg price...
- Heard much abt the lousy petrol but got addicted
- Then today car vibrate like massage machine... abt few minutes...
- siao liao...
- Drive slowly then suddenly car resume normal state
- why like that???
- servicing, belt, tensioner, pulley, mounts, coil + sparks juz changed wor...
- ws says O2 sensor problem... yet to diagnose with computer...
- was advised to go pump full sg Shell V power n monitor...

* the feeling was like sparks damp or like engine kena choked... (my assumption lah)

Remember the recent sg case where petrol was contaminated with water??? the driver reported same experience...

Now fingers crossed everything is okay...

SO PLEASE DUN GO PUMP THAT JB CUSTOM SHELL... (My own assumption hor...)

Does it vibrate somewhat violent at idle?
When moving, vibration is generally ok but engine loss of power?
If it is, it may be an engine misfire..

idle n moving both vibrated....

ya bro .. like misfire... so I guessed much must be the petrol

try some spirited driving, short bursts at full throttle to 7k rpm.

then stop and see if the car vibrates, or you feel any loss of power.

I just had the same issues after a short burst, scanned using INPA cylinders 4/5 misfiring. Changed all 6 ignition coils and new sparks and ok le

Change to Esso 8000 and change the EO ........

sports mode brings me joy ...

okay.. my mofo still eats the traffic... only got 1 aston eat me across the lanes...

bo pian lah... aston leh... mine 218 horses niah... somemore I think not optimised also...

nevertheless so far so good... happi... n no more jb custom petrol. period.

Ya, heard safest petrol up North is Petronas.
But been using Shell V Power many times and no problem so far, enjoy the improve power for my ride for the tank.

I was driving back last Sunday and the Shell station had long long queue so I decided to go for Petronas where I waited only for one car in front of me. Was bit worried cos highest grade was 97 but my ride has been smooth as ever this past week.

Uh oh. Secret is out. Msians prefer you pump shell which has many additives. Petronas' clean fuels are well kept secret.

On the other secret is after you pump petrol, go inside and buy one big box of Magnum Ice Cream. only RM4 each and selling here for S$4.30. If you are nice to the SA, they will even pack with dry ice for you but so far, it can last 1 hr without melting
