Just for sharing...
After switching to 19" I find that my car feels a little less powerful BUT seems to be travelling faster than usual.
So I went to compare my old 17" vs new 19" tyre sizes - the stock 17" tyres seems to be undersized. 18" and 19" are similar.
EDIT: Turns out I got the 17" tyre sizes wrong! It should be 225/55/17!
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
225/50-17 4.4in 12.9in 25.9in 81.2in 780 0.0%
245/45-18 4.3in 13.3in 26.7in 83.8in 756 3.2%
245/40-19 3.9in 13.4in 26.7in 83.9in 755 3.3% FRONT
275/35-19 3.8in 13.3in 26.6in 83.5in 759 2.8% REAR
Notice the 245 profile tyres (front) for both 18" and 19" seems to have almost the same radius/diameter. The rear wheels are typically slightly smaller, but the 17" is significantly smaller. This means your speedo is actually showing speeds *slower* than you are actually traveling if you are on 17" stocks and that also means your FC will seem *better* than you are actually achieving on your car.
