Just collected my car, like finally finally!
Brothers and sisters, who know about the entire process, you should all now share my joy!!
Presenting the ‘Midnight’, finally found the rightful owner he deserves. And he sure was very hard to catch!
Though I’m only happy with the car itself, here’s some personal tips to share when buying a car through direct owner:
- Make sure you have A LOT of time to spare, for many unforeseen circumstances.
- Patience, and more patience. Patience.
- If you’re one who lacks trust or worry a lot and easily, get a car dealer.
- No Money No Talk, now this is very important. You only have rights to talk when you pay up.
- Car owner’s name transferred, Insurance policy purchased and Bank loan approved doesn’t mean the car is already yours. Again, Money is the main confirmation.
- In most cases, customer is always right. I repeat, in MOST cases, not all.
- Always have a Ready-Made spare car plate to bring around with you, just in case you might need it.
I have dealt with many direct owners before, not forgetting to mention I have met some nice people and also, of course the worst. Ultimately, it is to give and take, and everyone will be happy at the end of the day!
