Servicing Standards - where to Service?

Hi all
Just wanted to tickle everyones brains here. But if you could go service your car anywhere. Where would you go and how good are they? Had kopi with a few guys yesterday and it was an interesting topic, so i wanted to see where the rest of the family goes.

Re: Servicing Standards - where to Service?

The number of workshops discussed in this forum has been providing services and charges far better than PML for the longest time and they need no introductions. Why would this tickle anyone's brain? I think if you read a little more, it is a no-brainer, really.

You can go anywhere but many are not familiar with bimmers so why take the risk? Many will say they can do bimmers but at the end screw it up. My 2 cents.

I think kik just wans an easy answer. He is very smart to phrase the question in a 'discussion' way to get the answers he wants without searching for it.

Soon there will be people who will ask "to tickle everyone's brains, where would you go to get a good spray paint of your car?"

Easier the better, friends car in need of service bad. I told him Boss, PML, MA... but he asked where forum guys go. So easier to tickle the masses :cloud9:

Can you ask him to go service in BVO, BOSS, J4C, MA, PML, M&Q and other recommended workshops by other people, and then come back here to give us FR on the level of service rendered by each of them?

If he services car twice a year, I think he will be able to give us his full FR in about 3-4 year's time. Make sure you ask him to include pictures as well as BMW-SG Forum Rule 101 is NPNT.

I will then petition for him to be made Forum Admin.....
