Servicing Interval for E92 335

Hi,

still new here so i can't post anywhere else. may i know whats the servicing interval for a E92 335? i went to TWM (3rd party workshop) for servicing and they pasted a sticker for servicing 20,000km later. i thought usual was 10,000km.

and may i know whats a fair price to pay for gearbox oil change and how frequent should it be done?

I serviced my E90 335i recenlty at 8000km when prompted by the OBC. It cost $200+ for oil change service at PML. The transmission oil change is due in October. I think less than $100 if I am not wrong.

so 20,000km is definitely too optimistic.

i was quoted $400 for transmission oil change, a friend $600 from another workshop.

Oil change every 5,000 km, gearbox every 10,000 should be safe. In any case, Boss is on TWN's panel, so check with them.

600 might be inclusive of the transmission oil filter and the 400 might not. It is advisable to change the filter panel when doing an ATF flush. I would probably change the engine oil every 8-10k kms depending on driving style.

did not know that the transmission oil needs to be changed so frequently. i always thought it was ard 30,000km.

I change engine oil every 10,000km. Didnt know gearbox oil must change so often?
