Selling 325i cab

Hey guys,

Need some advice regarding options with good resale value.

Am ordering 325i convertible in April > May production > July collect car. Am very excited and at the same time very inexperienced.

I plan to sell it after 6 months, roughly Dec 2010. So resale value is my top priority. I chose Apline White ext and Dakota Red interior for their good resale value too.

For the all the experienced BMW owners out there, what options do you think have good resale value? Thinking of:
1) Sports package
2) 19" rims

what options can retain their value well?

thanks in advance for any good advice!!!

Re: Selling 325i cab

its good to have the 2 options. they r the most desirable. but bear in mind the value of ur ride will not increase by the value of ur options. its an incentive to probably make potential buyers pay a few thousand more to secure ur ride. most times resale is benchmark against a stock ride.

Re: Selling 325i cab

Accessories do not contribute to better resale value since u hv to pay for it too, maybe makes it easier to sell.

Wanting to sell a car in 6 months' time and wanting good resale value sounds like 2 contradicting objectives. :)

Re: Selling 325i cab

seriously if u had too just slam on a nice set of wheels and move on. dun think u can get much better resale 6 mnths down the road.

Re: Selling 325i cab

haha..selling in 6 months?
money laundering? :errmm: :nehnehhh:

Re: Selling 325i cab

But u hv to pay for the wheels in the first place, yes? And the wheel won't appreciate in value in 6 months' time.

yes bro. but alot of buyers including dealers crave the 19". it makes sellig th car that much easier and in my case, was able to sell he car at 5k more from the next best offer.

a very effective sweetener if u ask me.

Re: Selling 325i cab

Probably its ur luck I guess :) Most instances one will be lucky if they even get back 50-60% of the cost of accessories.

Re: Selling 325i cab

probably. could be becoz i told the buyer he yan dao.:nehnehhh:
