Seeking advice from Blackvue DR500GW-HD car video recorder feedback.

Hi

Like to check with ppl who have installed the blackvue DR500GW video recorder in your car.

Is the camera have any issue like previous blackvue model? Or all working well for u ppl?

I'm asking as currently have the DR380G model and currently having the known blackvue issue of blur record image..... As i had ran the power cable and checked that the power head for DR380G and the DR500GW is the same so i can just remove the cam and replace with new. save cost on re-run the cabling.

If there is still many problem with the DR500GW. Guess i will look out for other model and make.

My DR400 had the same heat and blur image issues. But since I changed to the DR500 about 3 months ago, I haven't had any issues.

Bro,can try Itronics ITB100.So far so good,have used it for almost a year with 24hours recording and did not face any overheating issues.Image is as good as DR400 too.

Don't have blur issue with DR500. Improvement on heat issue but still bit warm. With wider angle versus previous models so picture not as sharp.

Read that some people drill holes for heat to escape. Not sure how useful or safe?

I think he resolved the issue by cleaning the lenses.
