Seek advice for E46

Hi all fellows,
When i on my switch,all symbols and signs are lited and it will disappeared one by one and from wat i understand it will left the battery and engine oil signs remained right?and how about the EML orange wording sign at the lower left of the odometer?is it still remained lited together with the other 2 signs until you started the engine and all will disappear?.
Cos i went to get my horn fixed and the sign remained until the engine get started then only it disappeared.
Is it normal??????. Pls give advices,thanks.

Check your manual, EML is not the horn la

Before you crank up the engine, nothing should be lit except for the two little ones on top.

Those 3 symbols shld not be lighting up bro..
Better get it checked....

I've checked the manual,EML sign is related to the electronic of the car.
And the EML sign is always lited until I started the engine then it disappear.
So wats the problem and wat should I do next to get rid of it?

Bro..don"t frighten yourself. My EML lit up when I switches on but disappear with the rest after i crank start. No problems so far..had consulted our 46ers Official tuner and it shouldn't pose any problems. Will PM you shortly.

send to PML and prepare ur wallet bro...

Little Bro...no PML can die ? We ,E46 models,still need to line up there and open wallet for them to help themselves ? :screwedu:

danny - j8833t is right. The EML light should come on momentarily when the ignition is switched on, and then go away. If it stays on, it means that you have an electrical or electronic problem of some sort.

got the same signs lit up... currently nothin wrong wif the car... after crank start also all go off...

my EML sign only started litting up after a completely stock car got angel eyes...

goes off after starting e car...
