:furious:
how much do u all think it would cost to fix it?

Re: scratches

Hi there, sorry to see the pics. I believe that the wheel can be done at 25 to 30 bucks and the body at below 200. You can do it at Yew Lip and you can find their contact in the Resources tab of this forum. Cheers!

alright thanks! might bring the car down for a quote soon :)

hitmee: hahah yeah it might be, but i like the car to look spanking new :nehnehhh:

Re: scratches

Sorry for ur 320i... 20-30 bucks for the rims is quite resonalable. But 2oo for the body a bit ex. Try go Sin Wee Chuan - Mike for quotation should be much cheeper.

Re: scratches

ohh okay thanks... at first i expected like 1000 for everything!
because last time my c200 got banged by some cyclist den went to cycle and carriage to fix bumper and everything came up to the thousands

Re: scratches

Drive down to any of the listed workshops in our resource page and get a quote from them. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Cheers!

Re: scratches

ur body scratch...thats the more serious one...30 bucks for the rims at yew lip. ur body scratch means u hv to spray the entire piece...from rear fender to window frame to front fender...its all one piece. provided u dun hv to knock....300bucks estimate

Re: scratches

bro, don't look at price alone. pls check also the workmanship and the paint quality they are using too. you do get what you pay for!

Re: scratches

$30 per rim at Yew Lip but you need to queue for about 2 weeks one ! But they are good man, can return yr rim to mint condition, highly recommended by all the Hia-Dees.

The body will cost more since you gotta spray whole piece. I did my bumper once at Sin Hwee Chuan....excellent ....half the price of PML. Your body damage should cost you under $300 I reckon.

Re: scratches

thank you all bros, is the outside paint quality about the same as pml? or spray already got possibility of different colour, etc?

Re: scratches

ok colour matching is no problem but you gotta ask them whether they can spray the "orange skin" effect bcos thats what the car comes with. Some places paint and glaze it smooth so eventhough the colour is same the appearance is nevertheless different if viewed at certain angles.

errr.....if you want to build up yr biceps, u can carry yr rims there like dumbells :lol2:

As the hia-dees say, just book appt. and drive down on that day. I once saw them repairing rims when I was at BVO which is just 2 shops away from yew lip. Damn shiok to see man. Usually done in quite short time but they must let it dry after spraying the new paint on the rim. $30 per rim is really worth it.
