The safest thing to do is to switch to J-plate once in JB....hahahaha.
Once S plate car parked, being the minority, target for anything, especially "branded", nice looking, modded car, ......
I will never drive to JB for shopping, I rather take taxi in....shop with peace of mind.
If go further north, then it is safer, but still must be careful.
Recalled once drove to Genting, guarded paid parking compound was full, LL had to park at multi-storey carpark, couldn't enjoy myself for the whole Christmas holiday, worried that I had to take coach back with my family. Walked through the whole multistorey carpark, i believed it was less than 10 S-plate cars in there
Don't get me wrong, i like to drive to Malaysia, especially in NS highway, enjoying the wind, etc ....
