S5 sportsback vs 535

Guys, can give me some feedback between these 2 cars in terms of

1. Performance (stock and after upgrades)
2. Reliability
3. resale value after 3 years
4. maintenance for Audi
5. estimated OMV value for both

i vote for 535.... i thk PML 535 is another 30k higher than PA s5sb....

And yet the OMV is the same (or slightly lower). So that 30-40k price difference was the deal breaker. I was considering this very same 2 cars in July.

so u went for the S5 sportback ? heard a simple ecu upgrade will bring it to 400+hp ? any idea how muchie is the upgrading cost ?

can i roughly say :-

1. Performance (stock and after upgrades) - Audi
2. Reliability - BMW ?
3. resale value after 3 years - BMW
4. maintenance for Audi - dunno
5. estimated OMV value for both - about same

it probably cost 5-8k depending on which chip you go for. Overseas chip prices should be cheaper. As for real power gains, its still not totally confirmed. I'll do a dyno when I do install mine.

S5 sportback - beautifully fast, luxurious interior, wonderful handling with AWD - no soul
535i - luxury cruiser - looks to much like a 3 for that kinda money

So I plumped for a e350 Coupe with panoramic roof....

From A1 to A8. They look like they can share the same grill, fender and bonnet. Only diff in the newer models is the LED DRLs.

But i could be biased. and not answering your qns in the first post.

The F10 5er and 5GT are using N55 at launch.

I feel that this comparison a bit off:
535 is much bigger and luxurious
S5 is more towards the sporty setup side

But there's not much car that can stand close to both at their price tag range today

But OT abit but still relevant in a way...

I tot, RS4 is against M3?
so RS5 would be against M5?

Why now I seeing comparisons by mags which pit the M3 against the RS5? so the upcoming RS6 will pit against M5?

Will there be an RS4? Or just an S4 and nothing further? Seems abit strange the marketing strategy for Audi???
