Running different brand of tyres on stagger rims ?

Hi guys,

I know it could be a stupid question but i have search this question in this forum but cannot found the answer.

Anyway let me further explain on what i meant on different brand ... meaning same brand on Front and same brand on the back but Front and Back are different brand of tyres.

Is there any issue if tyres set up this way ...

Any feedback are welcome ...

theoratically it is fine. but becuse the thread on front and rear r different, it may result in increased inertia which might result in increased fuel consumption.

Thanks ... that's what i thought initially but would like to get a confirmation since I am not a tyre expert.

Will keep the tyres same brand and series.

trying to follow your train of thoughts...why would u need to go for different brands in the first place? unless u are looking at used but with 90% left...
