Run in servicing

Jus to check, is there a need to do a run in servicing at ard 2000km?

I was advice by Munich to do so, PML side told me no need to.....

go back your warranty workshop to do the oil change lah, no need to buy. Young engine use the recommended engine oil can liao.

No need to get super good or super ex one if you plan to change oil every 5-6k cos waste money. The good ones are supposed to last for sometime.

Mobile 1 or Caltex is good enough.

yup. i am going back to PML to do....but i though if buy own oil cheaper ...
I was at MA to fix my whitelines and they recommended me 5w30 though the guy also say 0w40 performance better....

mx trading best place to buy?looking at mobil 1 0w40 since everyone talks abt it.

No point purposedly go to MX Trading to buy 7 quart of oil. 1quart = $14. 8 quart will set up back $112.

I don't think the saving is that much considering the time & petrol involved.

Yah and MX Trading can only deal after 6pm or 7pm and you see many cars park nearby and people taking plastic bags of bottles and exchange of cash....machiam drug dealing

I am not related to him. Used him a couple of times to buy Amsoil only cos I lazy to go do drug dealing in MX.

I dun like Castrol cos siap siap after about 1-2k km..

Mobile 1 is ok but I still prefer Amsoil cos damn smooth

I did not do e run in servicing as our engine are already run in (before it come to SG)

Follow yur heart as MA / PML always advise many things.. :shhhh:

By the way.. Pml recommend 5w30 for F10 engines... The mobil 1 is 0w40. Amsoil dont have 0w40 base on the link... So i shld just get 5w30 or 0w30

0-30 & 5-30 same same.

The only problem is no 30wt from both MX Trading & Alvin.

The reason F10 523 is on 30wt oil is because valvetronic engine supposed to be on LL-01FE.
