BMW insiders have released rumors that there are plans for special edition options for the upcoming BMW 1 Series M Coupe. This will translate into a limited series variant based on the BMW classics as the E36 LTW, E46 CSL and the recent E92 GTS. The rumor also says that a "Performance Program" for the BMW 1 Series M Coupe is seriously under consideration. This range of options will most likely expand as the support for the market increases.
