Hey Kaiser, personally I don't think it's an overkill. You'd rather spend this 6k+ on a reliable set of BBK rather spending it on repairs and insurance from kissing someone's rear due to the reckless bloke in front of you who jammed on his/her brakes for little or no reason.

Heaps of such reckless bloke nowadays who like to prod on the brakes at high speeds.......so it's good to "arm" yourself with some mighty bite-y brake-ies
