Roof lining falling off..

Stupid car roof lining is falling off starting from the back of the car.
Anyone can recommend where (read :cheap and good) to get this fixed ? sigh... there goes my GST offset money...

Mine recently fell off but it was the window lining on both sides of the doors...
3yrs warranty over and things start to drop...amazing.

Got it fixed back by using super glue, it's firm now like new

usually better to order new pieces as the window linings have usually gone hard as well... but if you past the 3 year warranty, there is very little you can do except spend to get a new lining...

Its a common problem in BMW, my E36 and E46 too. Now waiting for my E90 and E60 to drop only...

still cant get over this lining dropping thingy...i mean how can a high end euro marque not able to stick this up nicely? or is it our hot weather that melts up the glue when they past 3 yrs? unbelieveable...

It's embarrassing when my colleagues (driving honda, toyota, but no disrespect) laugh and ask me how come roof lining can drop off...sigh...I mean, how basic is this QC...there are no moving parts !!! Any my car is always parked under shelter somemore....

BUT I LOVE MY CAR STILL .....

I've seen worse. My friend who drives an old 7, has his right hand on the wheel and his left hand holding up the roof at the same time!

i last did my roof lining on the E36 at JuzzForCars... reasonable but not original fabric...

Don't pai-sei. My old 7 roof also drop. Fren's Audi also drop. I think European just dono how to " tropicalise " their cars !!

My C-pillars in my E46 25ci had fabric falling off after 3yrs. Rubber lining of the doors fell off 1yr into the car's life...

C-pillar replacement = S$70+
Rubber door lining replacemnet = S$400+ (under warranty)

guess we'l have to wait till next May to see if E90's will fall off...or they have 'tropicalised' the newer models...
