Roadstone Tyres - Anyone heard of them?

Has anyone heard of Roadstone tyres? Was recommended by Ray S and first impression was they are damned quiet. Not sure how long they will stay quiet though.... :huhhuh: Did a search and Nexen Roadstone popped up. Are they the same?

Thread pattern looks like the old Eagle F1 GSD3 and made in Korea.

Re: Roadstone Tyres - Anyone heard of them?

heard of bridgestone and firestone but not roadstone.

how u know they were quiet bro? u taxi ride a car with those tyres?

but why would u want something non of us possibly never heard of?

Re: Roadstone Tyres - Anyone heard of them?

Well, I decided to go 18" so slapped them on after seeing that they looked pretty decent on Ray's 22" 6-series. Perhaps they felt quiet to me after having spent so much time on RFTs. It's called Roadstone N3000 and believe it was made by Nexen.

Anyway, if they fail after a few months I'll change them.

Re: Roadstone Tyres - Anyone heard of them?

does anyone know changing new tyre affect the fuel consumption?

Re: Roadstone Tyres - Anyone heard of them?

err, not talking about the pressure in the tyre, assume normal pressure.
as recently using new tyres, found FC increase, need go pump petrol faster.

u thread pattern might be more grip based, thereby increasing inertia and friction which may result in increase fuel consumption. also ur new tyres might be heavier...another possible reason
