Good choice! Nice ride height too

But I am very curious about how "comfy" is comfy on the softer settings.....

Guess it's TAXI ride from you at the next meet-up huh? :)

Anyway, can't go wrong on the PSS9 lah, just a little bit ex though IMO.

Cheers!

:wavey:

Comfy as is like stock / slightly better at front 8 back 9, I wonder if rest of bros have tried it on 9 / 9 any comments?

it is definitely a bit pricey but then again, I was thinking about all the nagging that would go into my ears if ride is too hard... ahhhh the price to pay for golden silence....

No no bro, i'm asking if Yours is for sale? ;)

Shedden, if u really want coilovers badly, I don't see the need for PSS9s or KW Var2 unless u track..

Coilovers, generally, are amazing. Seems like your main focus is the slammed look for shows and have the ability to raise it up after shows, so the ones that u should look out for are KW Var1 or PSS.

Keep looking! You'll be able to get a set soon! Cheerio and good luck!

Bro, I will autograph it and sell it to you for S$3888? good deal? :laughlik:

Winston,

"Comfy as is like stock / slightly better at front 8 back 9, I wonder if rest of bros have tried it on 9 / 9 any comments? "

Congrats bro..like Turner said "The Best Mod"
I am currently on 9/9 mainly because of the road in Singapore these days which are pretty crap with lots of digging here and there. Also, my new SO-3 tyres are rather on the hard side so setting the damper to highest comfort level suits my driving here.

I would say M3 stock suspension is somwhere ard level 5-6 F/R equivalent in the PSS9 so obviously with 9/9 setting, it's really comfortable...sometimes feels floaty too hehehe....
What I really like bout this suspension is the sweet and confident turn-in around the corner. It's sharp and responsive to steering feel, giving you full confidence when exiting the corner when you increase your throttle.

Comes track day...will set to 2/2 :)

My front height is still 2 finger gap ( from 3.5 there about when stock) and rear is bout half finger gap which I m very happy about.

While it's fun to play ard with the height adjustment, I think the general rule of thumb is to keep your front gap always higher than the rear due to engine weight and also to compensate for some front nose dive when you do hard braking..

Looks like ur current height is pretty ideal

Enjoy dude

jack, the spring rate at the front is already stiffer to cope with the engine weight over the front axle. It should be made for >1100kg range of axle weight, different from the rear. so no need to do double correction, although there's nothing wrong with your ride height now to begin with lah.

I was told that front nose dive is almost eradicated due to the coilovers, hence my front wheel gap is now 1 finger!!

An honest mistake in my posting. When I say the cost is $3050, it is already inclusive of GST @ $145 and Import handling @$25. It was so seamless when dealing in the transaction that it didn't occur to me it has been computed into the transaction. Pai seh for not verifying the details.

Wah 9/9! hmm... i just changed from 6/6 to 8/8, cos its still stiff and I want more comfort, furthermore, I can live with 8 8 8 8.... kekekeke Think 8's comfort is like stock while 9 is more comfy than stock.

Man you are going to let it rip yah! I really wonder if anyone has used 1/1 at all? Nose bleed afterward?

Will 1 pinky difference make so much damage?

Winston, i don't get what u mean...

what I meant was there since there is almost no more nose dive due to the stiffness of the coilovers, I'm "brave" enough to lower my front so thaat there is only 1 finger gap between the wheel fender and my wheel. Chio chio!

Btw, great drop and congrats on your purchase!

Winston,
"Will 1 pinky difference make so much damage?"

Of coz no damage, that's what i said earlier that ur drop is quite ideal already..
Don't try to slam it bro..Later u get more problem (fender rubbing perhaps and of coz ground clearance).... :naughty:

Aiyo,

Bro, the price is all inclusive liao!! Express Air freight, insurance, import permit charges & 5% GST!! Duh!!!

:whattheh:

Exactly bro, but thought of the comfort part also, that's why still thinking of rebound adjustables also..

Anyway, I checked from US Sites that TEIN produces great coilovers for our cars. Two models available in the US are TEIN SS & TEIN Basic Damper. The TEIN distributor over here in Malaysia is currently enquiring TEIN japan abt the price and availabilty of the coilovers for our BMWs, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for now! ;)

Shedden
