Replacement of brake discs and pads

Hi

Currently, driving a E60 523i.

Any brothers here have tried using Rotora slotted n drilled discs with HAWK pads is able to comment how this combination compares with the stock disc and pad. How is the bite like, the wear and tear, any noise, etc?

Do most owners revert to using the stock brake?

Was also told that when the pads wear out, the disc will also be wearing out soon. So would it be recommended to change both at the same time. Usually front first followed by the rear sometime later.

What about changing to steel braided hoses, any comments?

Thanks for your comments and time.

SBBH or steel braided brake hoses.
You'll remove that squishy brake feeling instantly.

When the brake fluid travels.
Imagine rubber hoses expanding.
vs. steel braided hoses expanding.

There you go...
