Replace shock absorber

Went to replace 4pcs of shock absorbers, a pair of control arm and lower arm and front disc rotor plus brake pad yesterday. Ws charge me $360 for labour for all the parts changed consider reasonable?

If you ask 3 WS and all came to be about the same then I guess it is ........

I did mine at around 250.
market should be around there 2xx-4xx depending on ws

Am curious how would the workshop bed the brakes? Unless they take the car out for an extended spin?

Why need to compare labour charge when the job already complete?

Just like buying underwear, as long as i m comfortable, slightly more ex is still ok.

I see. Seldom see workshops doing that since you need long roads, time and lack of traffic to do that. Can advise which workshops do that for customers?

For brake bedding - either you do the gentle braking method over an extended period or you resort to the series of sprints and hard braking (which some claim to be better), either way I doubt most ws would do for you.

Yup, thats why I was curious which workshop does this for the customer. Their service would be top class in that case.

When i change brake pad at R2D, rodney will bed in the brake pad for me.
After any work done, he will drive the car out for a test run before handing over.

Just drive easy for first hundred km, after that do some hard braking should do it.

Had some sounds from rear brakes recently after change of pads and rotors, some recent hard braking cured that
