Hi everyone,

I'm posting the sale of my beloved ride here to see if there's another enthusiast who is looking for a neatly done up and zippy coupe who can take him out for more spins on the roads than i can.

In my opinion, there's very little more that i can do to the car already other than supercharging it, but i think keeping it NA has its benefits and less tricky to maintain.

As my posting on sgcarmart states, it's the 4th car in the family and i'm either riding my bike or driving the family saloon more often than the beemer and have decided that it's better off being a first choice to another owner than 3rd or 4th choice in mine. It's just wrong to have it parked in the basement for weeks on end! :(

Because i only made the decision to sell it recently, it underwent an extensive servicing in the past 3 months @ BVO & R2D amounting to almost 5k changing wear and tear parts like fuel pumps, hoses, seals, mounts, bushes, MAF, throttle body, etc etc (with receipts of course). It even comes with a new road tax dated 28 May 2011! If i had intended to sell it much earlier, i would've saved the hassle and money and sold it off as it is.

However, the new owner can have piece of mind that service and mod history dating back as far as 2006 have been meticulously kept by me throughout.

A few of the mods not otherwise listed on sgcarmart are as follows:
- Volkers Spec 2
- Ignition upgrade
- Angel eyes
- LED brake lights
- New audio system
- New stoptech brake discs

Wear & Tear parts replaced:
- Alternator
- Camshaft Sensor
- Expansion Tank
- Thermostat
- All 6 ignition coils
- ABS module
- Water pump
- All engine mounts and shock absorbers
- Aircon Coil
- MAF Sensor
- Throttle Body
- Radiator
- DISA Valve
- Fuel Pump Assembly
- Misc Sensors

Most if all aftermarket mods comes with the original parts so if new owner wants to sell or scrap, they can be replaced and cash out the mods.

The demodding process is too painful to go through with, so i'm hoping someone here will be able to appreciate the result of numerous manhours of fine tuning this fantastic machine. :)

Re: Reluctant Sale E46 330Ci

temptation comes in many forms... it's one of those hard places to be when u hold a classic and have to find her a new home... much like letting go of a loyal companion... somewhere out there is the right person to keep the legacy alive...

Re: Reluctant Sale E46 330Ci

I think I know the first owner of this car..... back in the e46 days, he hangs out at BVO quite a bit..... very well-taken-care-of car..... tastefully done with all the Hamman parts............. hope it could land in a good owner's hands.

i'm a Night Reader... been around pretty long already...

have fun finding the right owner, the enthusiasts are out there... i'm also in a flux now as to what cars i can keep and what has to go. if only we were charged heavily on usage and less on ownership... sometimes we're just caught in a flux between cars. there's only so many u can keep... letting go of classics (very personal opinion) is extremely painful...

bayerische: Temple it is but sin ming it is not. :)
kenntona: Previous owner had a nick called Charontes who was really into ICE who decked out the car with 5-figured sound system i heard. Never met him, got the car through dealer. Ya, the Hamann theme was nice enough that i never really went along with the M3 bumper that every other e46 coupe had then!
JJ: Overuse of the word "flux". :p

Yes, that's right, Charontes was his nick. Car lover, took care of his car.

I remembered this car very well, cause back then, this was one of the nicest kitted car themed in Hamann's name. The other was, of course, Axl's 328i....

... from which I stole some parts and converted my ride into a full Hamann-themed sedan too.....
