Hello guys, is there anywhere I can have the window tinted with those silver reflective film? Preferably somewhere along the 80-95% light blockage class. Understand its illegal to get it done, so if its inconvenient to post the details here, you may also PM me :wavey:

Cheers

malaysia, JB. southern motorsports.

there's no demand for reflective films in SG.
the next closest thing would be V-Kool's Gold package.

Just yesterday I saw a Civic with SG plate with tints of at least 35%

i saw a bmw coupe...black with totally black. Cant see in at all...thot its malaysian car but its sg .... daring...

It's illegal to used tat kind of window film in SG, TP wld tear them off once they caught you on the road.

TP won't peel them off for u lahh...
they will tell u to peel them off yurself instead! if u r lucky. :|
TP where got time to go peel the film off for u, right??

or worse, they will either ask u to go inspection instead, or straight away book u for illegal window tint. :errr:

yah... the main reason for the ban of dark tinted films is becoz' of poor night visibilty.
now even m'sia cars cannot have dark tinted films too coz' the gov'ment also realised the dangers of using such films @ night.

dun be surprised... but dark tinted films r illegal in many countries... not only SG & m'sia.

but good news for SG bikers tho'. bikers can now tint their visors dark unlike b4.
this is to protect the biker from the sun's glare.

I drove with 50% tint for 2.5 years. Sometimes for 5 hours at a go in the dead of night during road trips. I don't think it's such an issue unless you get tints of 35% and below. You have to admit. Tinting makes the car a whole lot nicer
