Recommended Tyres Pressure for SO3 225/45/17

Dear all,

Just change my tyres to Bridgestones SO3.

Anyone using these tyres and what pressure is recommended ?

Frankly speaking these tyres are damn uncomfortable but the grip is good

Hi BMWSILVER,

I use similar tyre size (Goodyear F1) and I put 34psi. You can also consult the car manual or the label at the driver side, on the door sill.

Tyre shop pumped Front : 36psi and Back 38psi ==> No wonder so bumpy ride for me

Now I have reduced to Front 32psi and Back 34psi ==> I wonder these are O.K. for SO3 tyres ?

Not sure why tyre shop pump so high pressure ?

Can I mix Nitrogen Air with Normal Air found in Petrol Station ?

Ok for the tires, in fact, not so much of tire types but importantly the specs of the tires n how heavy your loads are..

It's ok to mix normal air with nitro......I do it all the time...but if u are bit fussy type and can get free refill for the nitro, go nitro all the way...

For 17 inch rims in my E34 5-series, I pump 29 or 30 psi cold. ie Measure in the morning before you drive.
I estimate this would be about 36 psi hot. When you reach the Petrol station pump and your wheels are heated up enough.
