I know there are lots of discussion on tyre pressure already but really wanna know better.
cos i followed the sticker on our car, but my previous tyres seem under inflated cos the side wear out more.

wat should we rely on...the car manual or wat is stated as the Max on the tyre itself ?
does it matter for different brands or products ?

anyone on the same tyre specs and experience to share ?

pls advise. thanks.

I'm using 225/40/18 - like you. I'm running 36psi an all four corners.

Its always better to over inflate than under inflate. Usually most manufacturers tend to quote a slightly under inflated pressure to provide for a nice comfy ride (call it "marketing"). The performance enthusiast will over inflate this slightly for a better feel and grip of the road.

Agree on the side wearing more when I was doing 34-35 psi a couple of yrs back.

I've since been on 38 psi with my 16"s
