Recommended Tyre Pressure for 205/55/16

Hi Bros and Sis,
Paiseh if this is a repeat post.
Manual recommends 200front/230rear for my 205/55/16 tyres which IMHO, was not optimal.
Anyone pump higher than recommended?
Mine is 220front/240back.

mine is 225/40/18

tyre guy said 240 all round. seems kinda low pressure isnt it

I pumped 220 and 240 yesterday and when i checked today, the pressure has gone back to 200/230. Does the tyre pressure sensor in our ride automatically adjust to factory setting?

you gotta set it thru the onboard computer check ur manual mate

235 front/ 245 rear for my 225/40/18.

Tire pressure is more accurate when inflated cold. U can try inflate them in the mrng at the NEAREST petrol station or better still with a electric tire inflator and check the pressure with a mearuring device at home when the tires are not heated up.

I'm using my own digital pressure guage. Most petrol kiosks' readings are +/- 10 to 20. Have pumped the tyre pressure at cold - 230 front/240 back. This is the optimal pressure for me at cold. I assume when hot - 250 front/260 back.
