Recent Disturbing bservations

Recently I have noticed that in many of the sales threads, people are selling exhausts, springs etc because their wives or gfs are complaining..

This is a disturbing trend. I have always thought we buy cars, such as make and model, because we like it and are willing to spend our own money on the cars..but how come nowadays wives and gfs get to dictate what goes in and out of our cars?

I think its shameful.

Tomorrow I need to change back 19" rims cos my wife says my 20" test set of rims too bumpy. Cb

Wives and girl friends are often used as unfortunate excuses to mask the real reasons. There're genuine instances but these are really rare.

Just like "my friend" or "my friend's friend" actually refers to oneself.

Based on my observation women tend to associate mods with more aggressive driving style. When you tell them you wanna change your rims/exhaust/engine enhancement their first response is why you wanna make the car go so fast, you wanna race is it? They fear mods will draw unwanted attention, make you a more aggressive person or put you in more danger.
