Rear Turning Light failure twice in 2+ years

Hi Bros,

Anyone experience rear light cluster replacement on the current E90 ?

I had the rear right side replaced last year, and they said it will take 2 weeks to get it done !
Which means when you turn on the right signal, the leds are not blinking.

This morning the left side died. I hope they will not take as long as the last one.
Even though its covered under warranty.

Will be going in today to find out:thinking:

Hi,

Just a update, the SA, who attended to me managed to hand over the car by 1++
That was the fastest turn around I ever experience at pml. And had my engine serviced at the same time, as he noticed that I was a couple of Ks to go b4 oil change.
I must say the service was great & both the rear lamp cluster were changed !

However BMW should really look into this rear lamp failure issue, did a search and it seems like it's quite a common problem else where too. It's not the led that fail but the circuit board that gets fried.
