Rear console button stuck in Z4

Ok I was fiddling around in my brother's '05 Z4 and this happened..

I am not sure if I have pressed the upper button at the rear console panel too hard as it has sunken in permanently.

I tried to depress it but still it doesn't come back up.

Can anyone please advise if there's a fix for this?

Rear console button stuck in Z4

I had that previously ..... With the roof opened - Try enabling the release switch in the trunk and push the catch button in. This will release the roof. Then push the roof back to the opened position and see if the button snaps out.

Basically use the manual close roof procedure to reset the button .....

You will need some elbow grease to do this ......
