My rear brakes has developed metal rubbing metal loud shimmering sound when I come to a complete stop. It only happens when the brakes are cool, e.g in the morning at the car park, or at the first traffic light after exiting a long smooth cruise on the expressway.
Visual inspection suggests that I still have rear pad and no funny marks on the disc.
It always make those low pitch "thum" sound before coming to a complete stop. Never had problem with high pitch metal rubbing sound. Much louder than the usual brake screeching/shimmer sound.
It started about 2 days after I changed my rims. Could the rims be the problem?
