Rear and side window shades

Hi all,

Is it true that only the BMW535 comes with the side and rear window shade whereas 520i and 528i do not come with? :|

You can add on but its going to cost you a huge amount due to the shades are branded with BMW. I am using those customize sun shade on all 4 doors but not the rear as i have rear camera. So far i am happy with the shades i bought.

This is something lacking in BMW. The Mercedes E-class have it. Sigh! :|

Where do you get those customised shades? I saw on internet that some customised shades are hooked onto hinges and it stays there. Is that the kind you use?

Ok! It comes as a standard feature in Mercedes E-class. In other words, if add on and cost a lot, then BMW is even more expensive as the cost of both cars is similar.

Hmmm something like that but still so much cheaper than the shades from BMW. Only rich ppl like Jon have the original Sart Sart shades.

U can call pml, indent via thru them. Not too costly lar.

In one of the forums, there was an article on "shades". They say you can have customised shades from this shop, Perfectshade. I wonder has anyone got it from there?:roll:

It looks great, better than the pull-up ones as it fits and covers very well. Those hinges are are removable?

Mine 518 also have.
