Hi all: Today after I install the M gearknob on my E-90, I had a E-90 gearknob spare which I will like to install on my E-36 (current E-36 having the T-gearknob). Any advise on how to do it? Big THANKS!

I think if its possible, might be quite hard to DIY.

can do lah. i converted mine.
u will need to overhaul the the transmission stick thingy (shifter+base plate), needs some grinding down too and fit it with a drumstick version (E36 later version, i think 94 or 96 onwards). then u can slot in your new auto knob.
its a tedious job beyond our knowledge (with the exception of bro joon), better to pay some labour charges to get it done.

It sounds very complicated! Where did you get yours done? I heard it is possible though.

can try checking with Milk whether he go any shifter+base plate available, cost abt 150.
