Hi Folks
Thinking of selling my beloved E30. Posting this up to see if there’s any interest.
This is a rare M-Tech 2 kitted E30 with a smooth running 2.0L M20 in-line 6-cylinder engine. 6 cylinder E30s are very hard to find locally, but parts are still available.
Bought in end Sep’03 and replaced many new parts since. Recently undergone new external + interior body respray. Overall condition + interior is well kept and immaculately maintained.
Details as follows:
’89 BMW E30 320iA COE till 30/11/2008
Original Lachsillber (Salmon Silver) colour
Exterior:
Original BMW M-Tech 2 Bodykit (front + rear bumper, side skirts + door lower panels) fitted by J4C in Jul’05
Full body exterior + interior resprayed to original colour in Aug’05 by reputable local paint/bodywork shop
Hella Smoked elliptical front headlamps
White front indicators and side markers
Slightly smoked rear tailights
Shadowlined trims
Blackened Kidney Grill
Wheels + Suspension:
Lowered 40mm all round on Bilstein B6 Sports Shocks with OMP (Italian) sports springs
Choice of either:
Original and extremely rare 16”x7” Hartge 3-pc rims with E30 offset ET25, recently bought, refurbished and resprayed to BMW colour Nogarosilber with Bridgestone 205/45/16 tires
OR
Original 17” Roh (Australia) 2-pc rims with Falken Azenis 215/45/17 tires (at $1k less the agreed total car price)
Interior:
M-Tech 2 steering wheel
Recently installed Replica Recaro reclinable sports seats with E30 brackets (original front leather seats still with me if you prefer)
Rear leather seats with pull-out centre armrest
Engine:
Completely stock except for KNN panel filter
Others:
Many new parts replaced (with proof of receipts) including:
Timing belt (Oct’05 - 4000km ago)
Fuel hoses, lines + fuel filter
Front OEM ventilated brake discs and calipers, control arms, wheel bearings, bushes
Aircon condensor, expansion valve, blower motor and resistor
Radiator and all cooling hoses
Power steering hoses and fluids
Overhauled auto transmission gearbox
Recently serviced, serviced regularly at independent BMW specialist workshop
Full service records and receipts
New 6 mths Road Tax paid till Aug’06
All work to enhance the ride and parts listed above easily more than $10K+. Suitable for next 10 years COE renew; no need to do anything else to it.
Also have a bunch of spare parts and accessories to offload at a small cost.
I am thinking of selling at $20,000 neg.
