Erm, not sure if this etiquette is practised in here, but I noticed some forumers just quote wholesale, the entire post of the person they are replying to. And it's quite irksome especially when the 1st post is of a substantial length, and laughably, often the reply is just a 2 or 3 liner. And it takes up valuable screen real-esate and the viewer has to scroll down thru the lengthy quoted part. (which was read before already!)
May I suggest that if the post of the person you're replying to, is on the same page (or the immediate (few) post above), the person can just:
"ABC: Yar... I agree with you..." etc
Or if if it makes things more clear, can post:

(PS: The only reason that a split point by point quotation of the original post shd be done, is when there's a furious flame war going on, and you need to keep a lid on things to make sure your enemy knows where you're attacking! Hehe...
