question on hierarchy

i notice that there is a "junior member" below my username. wonder how I can make myself push up the ante and find a "senior counsel" or something cool and aristocratic like that below my username..do i need to exhibit super in-depth knowledge on all things bmw or what???? please let me know. I want to climb the ladder...fast

I think it has to do with the number of posts you have
or the date you joined.

I forgot (seriously) to set the rankings to all posters to "Members". Currently, the reason why you see "Junior member" is because you have less than 30 posts in the forum.

This is set by the forum's software. We just did the switch recently, so don't mind the slight hitches.

hey folks...has and always was mesmerised by the 8 series both as a teenager and as an adult. wonder where i could find a decent 840Ci or 850i or 850Csi????? been looking around but cannot seem to find one.

850 road tax will kill.... especially once it crosses the 10 yr mark

my current road tax is already very high. $3400/ year. guess the 850 may be in region of 7k... yes. it is killing.. haven't seen one on the road for a very long time. wonder whether all of them had been exported out as most by now would have crossed the 10 year mark.

honestly, the 8 series has and will always be my dream machine. i would really much like to own and drive one when it has fully suffered the ravages of what we called depreciation. where can i find one in singapore now?

There were 840s as well for lower road tax... if there's any more around.

There are less than 5 8 series on the roads now... most have already been exported or scrapped... so its almost impossible to get your hands on one now...
