Hi,
I have met a problem this morning and wonder if anyone has passed experience with it.
My DW used the spare key to unlock the car for cleaning. And normally, she will lock the car after work is done and I will use my key to start the car. This morning, I was in a rush and used my own key to start the car and move off before she dry the car. Then I noticed that air con is not working, seat memory cleared, phone memory cleared, basically my settings are all cleared. The most puzzling part is drop dead air con.
So I kind of recalled from this forum that a restart may help. But after a few tries, still status quo till i lock all doors, go for my coffee, unlock and restart. Wala.. every thing is back to normal. All settings back and air con working again.
I'm fine with the settings but it's the air con thingy that I cannot understand why. It should work even with the spare key right? Anyone has this experience before? Any part that is gonna kaput soon? FYI, the car is only 18 months old with 17ks clocked with no electronic mods.
