Aluminium, in its pure form, has already been oxidised - hence its dull matt look. Because of this oxide layer, it has excellent corrosion resistance - hence will not tarnish like brass or copper. Just clean the trims with wet cloth......
P/S: our alum interior trims (types 1 or 2) are likely to be alum alloy than pure aluminium. The oxidation is even lower......
