Never driven a staggered rims car b4...
Front: 235/35R19
Rear: 265/30ZR19

So what is the actual amount of psi required for front and rear... was told 240 front and rear but find it too soft:huhhuh:

Re: Psi for 19" staggered rims

urs shld be 240 front 260 back???

I'm on PSS 245mm front and 275mm back... shop asked me to pump 250 front, 270 back..

Re: Psi for 19" staggered rims

Actually flat or nt depend on the brand of tire ba... shouldnt over pump also bro. I once tried pump max. Too hard.

Just wori under pump will caused uneven wear which happen to my frd... :p

Bro Seraphblade, Mine is 235 front & 265 back...:ehhh:

Which is why I gave u slightly lower number for the rear... front 240, rear 260 instead of 240 / 270 for mine

urs is PSS also? Normal or RFT? if RFT u have to pump even higher sia

Agree.
With Mich PSS, pump 250 still comfortable.
If Bs RE050, 220 you will still find it too hard....

Re: Psi for 19" staggered rims

F30: for 225/40R19 front and 255/35R19 rear - 260/260 if 3 passengers or less.
280/310 for full load. I would use this as guide for your wider wheels.

Re: Psi for 19" staggered rims

Oh, that's for 335.
you can refer your pressure chart at door. I would use same pressure for R19 wheels.

Re: Psi for 19" staggered rims

Do some trial and error till you find it comfortable yet confident.
It's better to do it a little on high side than to under inflate.
Staggered is best for maximum performance. Your wider wheels are impressive.

Depends on what u mean by maximum performance. On some of the pro forums, they are recommending square setups and have proven with faster timings. (Less understeer if u wanna know why)

For braking and maybe acceleration, wider is better. (Acceleration is subjective. If u are not losing grip, wider just adds to ur rolling resistance thus lowering acceleration)

Re: Psi for 19" staggered rims

Contact patch and driving feel may be a better way to gauge the tyre pressure, rather than flat looking and soft feeling...

If you are not carrying anything and you pump too high rear pressure, wouldn't your rear end become nervous when you brake harder?
