Drive moderately is shown on my car.

what and where when wrong?

Aircon
when start it isn't cool.
have to allow air to come in then cold after driving. but when long distance the air then hot again. esp got in the jam the aircon seem to be blowing hot air. day time is hot night time is cold. esp raining day cold.

can anyone assist me ?

Re: problem with my ride - Help needed

The mechanism that directs the hot/cold air to the vents gots problem......goto R2D and ask Rod to have a look.

Re: problem with my ride - Help needed

While accelerating hard today at TPE, a message flashed on the screen. I vaguely remember it read something like "Do not accelerate hard to avoid damaging the catalyst". Small LCD in between meters also advised to "drive moderately".

After doing so (around 80km/h) for around 30sec, the message disappeared. I didn't dare to accelerate hard since.

Any clue what happened?

bro,

7/10 = compressor weak ( ~1k)
1/10 = low on aircon gas (~ 20 bucks)
2/10 = cooling cool leak ( dashboard out unknown how much).

most likely compressor, I had those same symptoms.
If low on aircon refrigerant, also indicates leak somewhere.... 20 bucks will not last you for long.
If cooling coil leak, soon there will be no more refrigerant also = no more cold air no matter how long you drive. more troublesome....

however it could also be some sensor or valve thingy. I never got that before so not sure.

End of the day, you will have to get it fixed in a workshop. there is definitely a problem. just how much only.

hope this helps.

nope. never seen that error before. I would suggest getting it checked quickly when possible as it sounds serious but nothing happened yet so you are probably fine for now.

Thanks. I initially had some suspicion on the word "catalyst". But I'm quite sure that was the word I saw. Could it be short for "catalytic converter"? Would driving hard have any bearings on the cat?

Bro, sorry missed out your 1st error. get it diagnosed first, if in doubt with what workshop tells you, then ask here.

I have not seen that error before too. =(

Your ECU likely had deduced incomplete combustion from its various sensors. This could be due to a bad oxygen sensor or spark plug misfiring during acceleration. The unburnt gas could damage your catalytic converter.

Best to have it checked out by your workshop.
