80 - 9 - 10, can PM me the contact?
The last time I got Falken 452 18" 235 is already $400 a piece, so if you have kangtao for 19" and lower than $1250, I will buy man.

Re: Possible GB: 19" tires

same here as well...upgrading 19's soon

Re: Possible GB: 19" tires

Wow importing Falken FK452 from USA? :D not joking right? I think u should consider better tyre(s) than a Falken. Used that before my current GY A/S F1...below are my complains.

1. Wet sucks
2. Dry also not so great
3. Noisy after 1000km...I meant NOISY considering BMW's insulation is pretty decent so imagine it on a Jap car
4. Uneven wear...my 3rd Falken tyre with different thread design but same problem - UNEVEN wear you can bet on it after 3000km
5. Relatively high wear rate - 1 year at most you have to change.
6. Last point...some credit - didn't experience any sidewall cracks ;)

Many more brands to consider mate.

thanks for clarifying.

have always seen good ratings on falkens. but seems like its just for the start. true test comes when used over time

Re: Possible GB: 19" tires

My review is:

1. Wet quite ok for me, maybe I haven't reach 180 in the wet yet :p
2. Noisy - Damn noisy siah. If a person cannot tahan noise better don't buy it.
3. Even wear - Mine ok after 15,000km.....
4. Wear rate - It is higher than other better brands as it is cheaper. Mine was ok after 15,000km though. Maybe 70% left....

All in all it is a cheaper make so if budget allows go for better ones. But if like me, $$ no enough, then can buy as the tyres are relatively good in the wet but the noise a bit high....

nope not joking. considering FK452 because it is identical in performance to GY asymmetric but costs less

Go for it, it's the best in the Falken range anyway.
At least my 452 didn't bi chiat like the CSC3 I'm on... :(

Re: Possible GB: 19" tires

Hi bro,
For those sizes of tires, I'm able to get Yoko S.Drive for $1450.

hey bro no offense but S.Drive is a different category

GY-asym>=FK452 > CSC3 > PZero > SPT > Sport Maxx > S.Drive

if you would like to see the mag review i can post it here

Hi Bro,
FYI FK 452 & S.Drive are the same treadwear of 300 (THEY ARE THE SAME CATEGORY).
CSC3 & Pzero 280 / 220, PS2 220. GY F1 Asy 240.
Sport Maxx 240.....

Unless you are talking about BS RE-11 or Dunlop Z1 Star Spec @ TW 180 and 200 respectively. Both tires are one gradde higher than all above..

Cheers,
Dave

Re: Possible GB: 19" tires

ok.. maybe i should put it this way, the performance of the FK's and S.Drive are very far apart

Re: Possible GB: 19" tires

as you can see the FK452's and GY asym arent very far apart.. while the S.Drive isint exactly on par with them esp since it would costs more .

Either way thanks for contributing your info on the price of the S.Drives.

Also the main reason why im interested in the Falkens are because they are the most value for money. End of OT.
