Actually F10 strawbery is a very nice ride. It's just the after sales that's suckz.

somehow that's the 'impression' the ADs are trying to portray, that they are arrogant?

here, the folks are complaining about the after sales service from PML, and on the VAGSG, folks there are complaining about the same at PA?

Re: PML or MA

I have had an occasion where a 335 needs some issues rectified. It was sent to PML. Not entirely solved. Decided to try MA, they didnt really solve it either. Owner lost faith and decided to go back to PML.

There are a few questions to be posed:

(i) how familiar are MA's mechanics with non M cars? Do they have the benefit of datalogging of past known problems and solutions for non M cars like PML has? PML mechanics may not be great, but they do have access to these intel.

(ii) MA doesnt provide courtesy car for non M cars. If you send bk to PML and bang table hard enough, they should give you one. But if you have other cars to drive, then not an issue.

Dear All,

Please allow me to clarify:

(i) MA's Techs are as familiar with Non-M cars as they go through the same training as other AD techs. However, on a day to day basis they obviously see more M cars which are far more complex. The proportion of Non-M cars have been steadily growing and we can do both ranges very well. The service records are not shared among the ADs, as this are private and confidential. We do however have access to parts requisition records and by a process of elimination we can ascertain to a great degree of certainty what has been done to the car throughout its service lifetime.

(ii) MA does not have sufficient courtesy cars comparatively because we simply are not as big as the other AD. But is getting a courtesy car really the solution or is fixing the issues in the shortest time possible the whole objective. We let the consumer decide, we can merely provide an alternative. We do our very best to live up to that trust that every single individual who purchases a BMW expects to receive, the "Sheer Driving Pleasure" experience from day one and for as long as the owners requires it. Thank you all once again for choosing BMW.
