please Advise

Hi

My ride when drive for a distance never stop e.g for east to west and come back the car will not able to start when i off the eingine or sometime is will vibrate and start jarking.

if it can't start I have open the bonnet and cool of the engine for at least half to 1 hour or so than it can restart again and it happen many time.

Can anybody help or advise me what is the prob of my ride facing, or do you have experience the same prob that I do?

Currenlty have spend almost 1k but still couldn't fix the prob had bring to 2 of my mechanic, both also cannot solve my prob and they keep guessing either here or there but replace part still same prob.e.g changing the 2 sensor cable and repairing the air flow sensor etc..,

sounds like a starting issue......which year and series is your ride?

i seen his previous posts and seen his FS thread.. i tink he should be driving a E36 318iA .... hmm.. if u were to ask me... jerky start + cannot start... problem might lie with Air flow meter or the sensors... or might be ignition problem (distributor cap ?? ) What have u chnaged or fixed so far?

So far no jerk or anything just from jurong drive to changi cannot start lao, has change started before dun think it started prob, crank start engine no prob, one crank start lao..

Has also repair the air flow sensor but dun think it the prob after corn by the mechanic, and also change the 2 cable connecting the snsor cost me nearly $400.

Recently, just when to propel the senior guys there ah seng told me might be a switch prob, but later get it change for $30. so far no prob lets pray hard no prob.
