Hi Bros,

For those who are using Sony Ericssion walkman phone e.g W550i, W800. w900 etc..

Installing an audio aux may be worth considering. I tried connecting the phone into the auxillary and not only it can play MP3 songs (sound quality actually not too bad), you also make use of the car speakers as a handfree while driving. The sound quality is actually very good too:yummie: .

I am not sure about other made phones but walkman phone original earpiece cable come in two portion and have a female audio jack which allow you to connect to the aux jack.

If you use the remote, it's using an amplified line out.. may distort at high volumes no?

Sony sells an adaptor to output to RCA stereo first right? I saw Sony oso selling an FM encoder/transmitter for their phones.

Comparing the SQ of the ipod nano to my W900i.. 900i wins hands on.. bass is tighter and no distortion at all.

I actually got an ipod module for my alpine HU, with a second module so I could use my old MP3/CD changer as well. As an added benefit, it does have stereo RCA input.

Neat.

May try it out :)
