PI Car Owners - How do you resolve s/w related issues?

Just a general question out to those who bought BMWs from PI dealers, how do you resolve issues that only PML can do, e.g. software upgrades?

I'm just curious really, and with the current COE prices I think PML might not be the choice for me anymore.

PI owners deal with their respective service workshops, as dictated in their sales contract. Let the workshop send in for you.

This is the part where the reputation of both the PI and workshop matters.

thanks kenntona... i was just curious, cos some PI don't offer warranty, or they use guys like Comfort Delgro (?!!!)

any bros here have good recommendation for PI?

comfort del gro as good as no warranty...

ask the PI for a list of workshops...

i know some PI got reputable BMW workshops like BVO and BOSS as their workshop warranty partners...

how assured are we to know which workshop is good as some PIs only work with specific ones?

most PIs will reject our request for a specific reputatable workshop....anyone can give advise?

why the above question; I believe some workshops have pretty good relationship with PML, it will be easier for them to send the car to PML for major warranty claim, or complicated job.

my PI car is from Vincar..serviced by KBS..so far i love their service much much better than PML

perhaps the only disadvantage is warranty is tied to owner not car..so when you buy,,perhaps can neg to tie the warranty to the car in case u wanna sell b4 3rd year

You can try Riverview Auto. It seems like they are now equipped to do software ugrades.

I heard PI mentioned that with an additional $2~$3k, they can link warranty with AD (PML, C&C, etc). No?
