Photoshop CS 2 Query

Occasionally, I could not activate my Photoshop CS2 programme. The launch screen shows "Reading Text Global Resources...." and it never ends. Then it's hang.

After one or two days, it will be working again.

Anybody experiences this? And how to resolve this? In some preference setting?
