just wondering if you are new to the car? if so you might wanna try pressing is this button around the AC controls that looks like a circular arrow. hit the button twice until the green light is on the circular arrow with an A in the middle. this regulates airflow without air from the outside entering the cabin.

hope this might help ur issue

u need to set ur air con to internal circulation the going round arrow

Re: Petrol smell @ petrol station

Petrol smell in the cabin may be due to the charcoal cannister used for capturing petrol vapour along the fuel line or hardened fuel pump seal.

just to clarify its not the auto button that blocks the fumes, its the circular arrow button with no "A".

auto or not up to u. i tend to turn it off as during hot days the air con will be at full blast till it reaches desired temperature. prefer to turn to manual mode, temp at 16 degress and fan at one speed. thats the best!

Re: Petrol smell @ petrol station

You have to manually adjust it.
