Hi all
I am almost ready to personally import a brand new Porsche into Singapore from UK for own use. Have lined up the UK dealer and freight company. Did the sums -- quite substantial savings (about 30% off list price here)
Am posting for two reasons:
1. Anyone would like to join me in group buy? Don't think there'd be further discount (porsche prices are fixed), but would save on freight, and can ask for some deal sweeteners... There's of course comfort & security in numbers.
2. Anyone can help with the registration process in Singapore (ie. after the car arrives in Singapore dock)? I realised it is too cumbersome to DIY without a trade plate to bring the car out from port to LTA testing centre. If so, what's the charges for this service?
