Paralysed on the left side

The electronics on the left side of the front passenger seat and mirror is acting up. The seat can go back, incline front and back but cannot go forward. The seat is now shifted all the way back.

The side mirror is also acting strange. Everytime I unlock the car, only the left mirror folds outwards. The right side is fine. And I didn't even use the key fob to fold the mirror inwards when I lock.

Anyone had similar problems before and what's the damage to fix it?

Ok. Problem solved for the power seat.

Was checking the cables, wires etc and wanted to take out the side panel. Removed the plastic knobs and just for the fun of it, see if the switch works without the knob. And IT WORKED!!!

Realised the plastic knob was placed the wrong direction. Switched it around and the seat goes front and back. Otherwise, it only goes back. Only difference I see is a small catch at the end of the plastic stick. Anyway... that's my main gripe and its working. Probably the kids have been playing with the seat.

The mirror is ok so far after I manually moved it inwards to the "steady state" position, then moved back to the desired position. Since then, the mirror doesn't fold outwards when I unlock the car.

So both problems solved
